Whether short or long, any stay with the Ferenc family will be taken as an opportunity to pamper you with home-grown or local produce and home cooking. There will be opportunities to enjoy the culinary traditions of Slovenia and of Prekmurje region above all. During weekends or, by reservation, also during the week, you can stop by for a snack or lunch and perhaps enjoy their home-made aperitifs, wines from their own vineyards and their home-made fruit juices.
To offer a glimpse of the past to those interested in heritage, there is an open-air museum of agriculture partially covered under a thatched roof that displays a number of historic machines and tools and incorporates a number of traditional building elements and architecture of the Prekmurje region.
The Ferenc family cares about tradition, about techniques, arts and crafts of the past and saves no effort in their struggle to preserve them for posterity. Demonstrations of traditional roof thatching, basket weaving, paper flower folding and also pottery-making can be organized by appointment for larger groups. At the nearby pottery you can even try out your manual skills by designing a product from clay on your own.
